“Mass resignations followed by voluntary testimony to congressional committees are a constitutional mechanism. Overt defiance of presidential authority by the president’s own appointees—now that’s a constitutional crisis.” — David Frum. So the more alarmed administration officials resign en masse, and what happens then? Trump denounces them on Twitter as traitors and losers, and replaces them with more compliant figures. How would that help anything? Does Frum think that such mass resignations would prompt Congressional action? Give me a freaking break.
