A note to the few who read this tumblelog: I don’t expect to be posting here any more. It’s been fun — for almost eight years! — but it’s time for me to think longer and slower thoughts, and that will be easier to do if I get out of the habit of posting every little cute or funny or intriguing thing I come across online.

My hope is that in 2015 — in addition to working on my ever-expanding Big Research Project — I will write less often but at greater length, probably on my home blog, though possibly elsewhere if someone wants to pay me.
