Re: this essay on accelerated and decelerated landscapes, I wonder if we can think similarly about media landscapes. Maybe what we need is not the distinction between β€œfast” and β€œslow” media but rather an ethic of deceleration – a movement rather than a binary switch.

Brad East’s rules for reviewing and being reviewed, are excellent, but the very first rule for reviewing should be: Don’t review a book unless you have actually read it. This rule is broken quite often, I’m sorry to say.
